Nursing Care Center gives scholarships

NORTH ENGLISH -- In celebration of its 50-year anniversary, the English Valley Nursing Care Center, in North English awarded a $1,000 scholarship to each of the graduating high school seniors on staff to further their education.

Gabrielle Kustes and Isabella Maser completed their certified nursing assistant training through the Center more than three years ago and joined the workforce.

Kenzie Sanders also completed her CNA training through the Center and has been a staff member for more than a year.

Both Kustes and Sanders recently graduated from English Valleys High School and Maser graduated from Williamsburg High School.

All three are recognized for their dedication, quality of care, and compassion.
