The United States is not a democracy

“Former Present Trump will Destroy Democracy!”
Couple of questions.
Why does the mainstream media reference President as former?
Every president has always been referred to as President (insert name here).
Could it be a show of disrespect? Incompetence in mastering the English language of the United States?
Well anyway, to keep it in today’s vernacular, I came to talk about democracy.
For anyone that has studied American history, the United States of America is not a democracy. We are a representative republic. and so destroying democracy in the U.S. is a good thing,
Right?
Democracy is just another way of describing communism. Dressed up in a different title but leads to the same thing, rights granted by the ruling class.
Your right to free speech, gone, (somewhat governed now by the “Elite Class”).
Just look at the online censure of the most popular websites that we, at one time, could say anything we wanted to, true or not.
“Well, he/she slandered me, or my favorite. He/she made me feel bad or whatever.” Great, sue them.
The leadership of the Democratic Party talks about feelings, and feelings never conducted anything.
Do you think anyone that has achieved greatness in anything took note of hurt feelings? This is just another example of division. “I don’t like you because of (fill in the blank).”
The United States was founded on the freedom and rights of the individual.
History is full of the will of the strong being forced on the lesser of anyone in that collective. This is not just our history, it is from time immortal.
We don’t teach history anymore. Might offend someone.
Well maybe you need to be offended. Actions have consequences. That is a fact of science and of human nature.
Anyone remember Newtons third law? For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. “Sorry I forgot, might offend someone.”
When I see the executive branch suing the judicial branch because they can’t have their way, I’m thinking, WOW!
“If I don’t get my way, I’m taking my ball and going home.”
It is amazing to me that we are expected to live within the confines of the law, but those in authority won’t.
It is time to change the direction we are going. This is not about Republican or Democrat. It is much bigger than that.
Currently the Republicans have a candidate that appears to strive for the well-being of the United States where the democratic candidate is dedicated to making everyone equal.
Fine statement, except we are not all equal. I may not want what you want. You may work harder than I do. You may want different things out of life than I do.
You may be bigger, smarter, faster, stronger, whatever, and only in our system of government can you or I have that.
I can go on indefinitely, but you get the picture.
A vote for President Trump is a vote to defeat democracy.
Remember to vote.
