Plainsmen end year 8-2

The Belle Plaine boys’ basketball team improved to 8-2 going into the holiday break with a 47-36 win over Colfax-Mingo Friday, Dec. 22.

Sam DeMeulenaere led the Plainsmen with 21 points. Riley Simmons added 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Jax Stamp had six points and 16 rebounds.

The Belle Plaine girls had to postpone their game because they did not have enough players.
