MONTEZUMA — Montezuma's Hometown Holiday will be Saturday, Dec. 7. A lot of new activities have been planned for the day.
8 — 10 a.m. — Santa breakfast at Memorial Hall
9 a.m. — noon — Methodist Women Cookie Walk at the Methodist Church
9:30 a.m. — noon — How the Grinch Stole the Library at the Montezuma Public Library
4 p.m. — Lighting of the luminaries around the square
4 — 7 p.m. — Horse trolley rides around the square, courtesy of MCD
4 — 7 p.m. — Christmas walk around the square

Activities include a hot chocolate bar — Vivarium; Smores treats and card decorating — Friends of the Montezuma Public Library; Christmas craft kids — Ila Mae Home; a treat for mom and dad — Montezuma Floral; cookie aecorating — Memorial Hall; pictures with Santa — Memorial Hall; popcorn — Vannoy Chevrolet; free bowling — Star Lanes; paper snowflakes — Ron’s barbershop; kids games — Be Brave Dance Company.

Brooklyn’s Christmas Traditions 2024 set for Dec. 6-8
Brooklyn will host Christmas Traditions 2024 Friday through Sunday, Dec. 6-8.
Sponsored by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, the three-day event includes a number of family-friendly holiday activities, including the community theater production of “Many Things,” written and directed by Brooklyn’s Josh Gerard, and a visit by Santa.
