Pros golf Stone Creek in annual event

WILLIAMSBURG — Professional golfer Sean McCarty and amateurs Dylan Burns, Austin Blythe, Brandon Weber and Jeff Schulte shot a 37-under-par 176 to win the team competition at a pro-am golf tournament in Williamsburg Aug. 20.

Stone Creek Golf Club in Williamsburg hosted the annual tournament.

Finishing second with a 32-under 181 was Matthew Walker (pro), Holden Blythe, Cody Marine, Phil Bott and Brent Huedepohl.

Ricky Costello, Des Moines, was the professional champion, firing a 7-under-par 64. Sean McCarty, Coralville, and Matthew Walker each shot a 66 to share second place.
