Public Health hosts senior fair

GRINNELL — Poweshiek County Public Health will host Spring into Wellness, a free senior health fair, Friday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grinnell Mutual Conference Center.

The event is designed for people 60 years of age or older in Poweshiek and surrounding counties. Light refreshments will be served, courtesy of Grinnell Hy-Vee.

The Conference Center is located at 4215 Highway 146 South, in Grinnell. No registration required.

The health fair will feature a variety of informative booths with healthcare professionals, businesses and community organizations ready to answer questions and provide valuable resources on a range of senior topics, including nutrition, mental health, senior housing, volunteer opportunities, insurance options and physical health and exercise.

Parking

Enter using the second driveway at the south end of the building. Park in the lot in front of the conference center entrance or in the one just south of the entrance.

Participants can park in the south parking lot. Handicap parking is available in front of the conference center entrance.
