The Class 3A No. 1 ranked Williamsburg softball team was plenty tested last week with four-ranked match-ups, going 3-1 in the four.
The first two came in a doubleheader against 3A No. 14 West Delaware last Wednesday, in which the Raiders took care of business, winning by scores of 8-3 and 9-3.
On Saturday, the Raiders traveled to Van Meter, to play the 2A No. 1 Bulldogs. The Bulldogs pulled away in the fifth with a six-run fifth inning, handing the Raiders their second loss of the season.

Through 14 games, Alley Gorsh was leading the team in hits (20) and RBIs (19).
Jersey Metz owned a 1.41 ERA at the mound through 39 2/3 innings, and Makenna Hughes had stolen 27 bases, ranking second in 3A.
