Raiders wrestlers advance to state

No. 11 Humboldt squeaked by No. 24 Williamsburg, 34-31, in a Class 2A regional dual Jan. 30, then upset the host, No. 6 Ballard, 38-37, to advance to the state duals.

Williamsburg and Humboldt each had seven match wins, but Humboldt had four pins, to three for the Raiders — Sawyer Kirby (138), Cael Moore (175) and Carson Grier (285).
