WILLIAMSBURG -- The Williamsburg Public Library will welcome Red Cedar Chamber Music for a free public concert Thursday, March 12 at 7 p.m. in the library’s fireplace area.
Sponsored by the Williamsburg Library Foundation, the concert, “Return to Roots,” takes listeners on a journey that bridges Hungarian folk traditions and European art music.
Violinist Miera Kim and cellist Carey Bostian will open the performance with “Red Cedar Express” by Michael Kimber, the ensemble’s first commissioned work and world premiere following their appointment as directors in 2016.
The public is welcome.
