Registration open for Unity in the Community Fun Run

GRINNELL — UnityPoint Health—Grinnell will host its second annual Unity in the Community 5K/3K Fun Run Saturday, Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. in Central Park in Grinnell.

This family-friendly event reflects UnityPoint Health’s commitment to promoting health, wellness and a sense of community, said Unity in a press release.

Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to run or walk either a 5K or 3K course.

Registration is $10 per person. An event T-shirt is available for $5 for participants who register by Sept. 24.

Children should sign up as registered participants, and each must be accompanied by an adult. Race chip timing is included with every race number, which can be picked up on race day from 7:30 — 8:30 a.m.

Online registration is open through Oct. 3 at 11 p.m. at runsignup.com/Race/IA/Grinnell/UnityInTheCommunity.
