Reineke, Kilgard advance

Senior Jacey Reineke of Belle Plaine shot 88 and finished second and senior Brooklyn Kilgard of Iowa Valley shot 90 and placed third at the first round regional meet Friday, May 10, at Marengo Golf Course.

Both moved on to the Regional Final set for Wednesday, May 15, at Monticello Golf Club.

Also moving on to the Regional Final, this one at Honey Creek Resort in Moravia, are the BGM Bears, who placed second Friday in a Regional at Sigourney Golf & Country Club.

The Bears finished with a 424, well back of first place Highland (372). Aurelia Roudabush carded a 95 to lead BGM.
