Roudabush wins individual title in playoff
English Valleys’ Mikesell shoots 21-stroke season best

OSKALOOSA — An extra hole was needed to determine the South Iowa Cedar League girls golf champion Monday at Oskaloosa Public Golf.
In that playoff hole, BGM’s Aurelia Roudabush prevailed, with par on the 132-yard hole one par three.
Roudabush and North Mahaska’s Aly Steil each shot 88 through 18-holes on the par-68.
North Mahaska captured the team title, with a team score of 384.
BGM finished third as a team, shooting a 391. Averee Krebill also earned medalist honors for BGM, finishing seventh with a 96.
English Valleys’ Taylor Mikesell earned medalist honors for the Bears, finishing eighth with a 97. Mikesell improved her score by 21 strokes from her previous 18-hole season best of 118.
Iowa Valley finished fourth as a team with a 434 and was led by a 19th place finish from Jasmine Slaymaker.
English Valleys was fifth, Montezuma eighth, HLV-TC 10th and Belle Plaine had no team score.
