The last time Santa will be in the Forest is Dec. 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The final day for the Tannenbaum Forest will be Sunday, Dec. 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A donation will get visitors into the Tannenbaum Forest. Proceeds will benefit Stead Family Children’s Hospital and local non-profits.
The Forest consists of rows and rows of decorated Christmas trees. A 17-foot tall German-style Christmas pyramid (a large, multi-tiered, rotating display often seen in German Christmas traditions) is located prominently in the barn.
Dress warmly. The barn isn’t heated, so winter coats, hats, gloves and maybe a scarf will be desired.
Wear sturdy shoes. You’ll be walking among rows of trees, potentially in a barn floor area, which is less formal than a showroom.
Bring a camera or phone to take photos of the decorative elements, whimsical trees and the pyramid.
Give yourself at 20-30 minutes view the trees, take photos, visit Santa and browse children’s activities.
