Satellite voting set up in Grinnell

A satellite voting station will be set up in the community room of Drake Library, 930 Park St. in Grinnell May 15 for the June 4 Primary Election.
Poweshiek County voters may vote at the satellite station between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. that day, said Melissa Eilander, Poweshiek County auditor and commissioner of elections.
Ballots for all voters in Poweshiek County will be available as will voter registration forms for people who need to register to vote or who have changed names or addresses since registering.
Voters will be required to provide valid identification such as an Iowa driver’s license, an Iowa non-operator ID, a U.S. passport, a military ID, a veteran’s ID, a voter ID card with a 4-digit personal identification number or a tribal ID>
Absentee voters may also vote in person starting May 15 at the County Auditor’s office in Montezuma until Election Day.
Courthouse hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The office will also be open for voting Saturday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
