Schmidts welcome baby boy

Ray Schmidt, a 2012 Williamsburg High School graduate and son of Randy and Becky Schmidt, and Jess Schmidt, daughter of Peter and Bonnie Vlastaras of Clearwater, Florida, announce the birth of their son, Theo Francis Schmidt.
Theo was born April 4 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long.
Ray and Jess are the owners of Farm Story Meats, an online, direct-to-consumer meat company. The family currently resides in Ames but plans to move back to Williamsburg where they own farmland.
