Scouts collect food in Amana

AMANA — Boy Scouts will collect food for the Amana Church Food Pantry Oct. 28 in Amana.
The Scouting for Food Drive will accept canned fruits and vegetables, soups of any kind, pasta, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese, boxed meals, canned meats such as tuna or chicken, boxed cereals or oatmeal.
Donations of household items such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent or dish soap are also in demand. No class jars or opened packages will be accepted. Food needs to be non-perishable and not expired.
