Shake-up in new district assignments
Four area teams placed in 8-Player district five

The Iowa High School Athletic Association released new football classifications last week and have released district assignments for the next two seasons.
The new assignments saw some shake-ups for area teams.
In terms of travel in district play, the team with the biggest shake-up is Williamsburg.
The Raiders will be headed west in their new Class 3A district five which includes Des Moines Christian, Knoxville, Nevada, Saydel and Winterset.
Montezuma will no longer compete with any other conference school in their 8-player district but will see some familiar opponents in district seven.
Four area schools were placed in district five in 8-player.
Belle Plaine, English Valleys, HLV-TC and Iowa Valley will pair with Lone Tree, WACO and Winfield Mt. Union.
BGM, now up a class to Class A, was put in district six.
The Bears will play some familiar conference opponents in Colfax-Mingo, Lynnville-Sully and North Mahaska.
