Students beautify Main Street
NORTH ENGLISH -- On Friday morning, May 17, Englsh Valley’s vocational agriculture instructor Kristin Fisch brought several of her students to Main Street in North English to join P.I.N.E. (Pride In North English) volunteers to plant eight flower beds.
The students grow the flowers in the high school greenhouse, and Fortnightly Club donates money towards their cost.
P.I.N.E. members Ruth Henson, Sandy Hester, Jenn Hohenshell, Sherry Moffit, Susan Schaefer, and Scott and Bonnie Romine care for the beds throughout the summer months.
This is the tenth year for this continuing joint project.
