Swaddling ministry

First Lutheran celebrated children and gathered items for the Swaddling Clothes ministry of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Marengo Sunday, May 4. Mary Jane Stanerson gave a presentation on the 10-year history of and importance of the mission. On the first Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to noon, the church opens its doors to families in need of items for children from birth to 6 years old. (Submitted photo)
