TKM presents “Death by Disco”

AMANA — TKM Theatrical Productions will present “Death by Disco,” by James Daab, at Fireside Winery, 1755 P Ave, in Marengo Feb. 9 and 10 at 7 p.m.

This comedic murder mystery dinner theater takes its audience back to the 1970s to the Land of Oz Discoteria and the World Championship King and Queen of Disco Dance Contest.

The finalists will be bumping to the disco beat, every one of them hoping to be crowned the new monarch of the light fantastic. The DJ, The Boogie Man, will spin some killer tunes, so put on your polyester and your platform shoes, ’cause one of our contestants will Cha-Cha right into the chain gang as murder erupts.

The doors to the disco open at 6:30 p.m., and the first course begins at 7 p.m.

The night will begin with a glass of Champagne, the first course will consist of salad and a breadbasket. The main course is a pork tenderloin with rosemary roasted potatoes and garlic roasted broccoli, and cheesecake minis and chocolate covered strawberries finish off the night.

Catering will be provided by Peppercorn Food Co. of Cedar Rapids.

Ticket holders are invited to dress in their grooviest 70s attire.
