Unity Charge moves forward with mission, outreach focus
Jun. 23, 2023 8:57 am
July 1, the Rev. Michelle Lynn Williamson will begin her 14th year of serving the four churches that make up the Unity Charge. The charge is made up of United Methodist Churches in Barnes City, Millersburg and North English and the United Church of Deep River. The latter is a combined church of primarily non-denominational, United Methodist and Presbyterians.
The Charge is moving more and more to a mission and outreach focus.
“We are four churches working together to share God’s love by serving others. All four churches have new mission statements to try to better state who they are,” notes Rev. Williamson.
Barnes City, still United Methodist with traditional values, worships at 8 a.m. Sunday mornings.
Deep River, united in sharing God’s love, worships at 9 a.m. Sunday mornings.
North English, preaching the Gospel, loving God’s children, worships at 10 a.m. Sunday mornings.
Millersburg, serving God and the community, worships at 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
“We invite you to join us at a location or time that is convenient for you as we begin our renewed journey,” Rev. Williamson adds.
