University of Iowa awards degrees

IOWA CITY -- The University of Iowa awarded nearly 1,700 undergraduate, graduate and professional students degrees at the close of the 2023 fall semester.

Abigail Garringer of North English graduated with a certificate in social science analytics.

Alexis Yoder received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, and Rubye Ney received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. Both students are from Wellman.

Ashton Bohlen of Belle Plaine graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education.

Aubray Walters of Williamsburg received a Bachelor of Arts degree in health studies.

Chase Sternhagen of Victor, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education.

Chelsea Bouslog of South English graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology.

George Miller of Marengo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.

Isabella Trevitt received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology, law and justice, and Zackary Lasek received a Bachelor of Business Administration. Both students are from Ainsworth.
