Victor fire department plans train ride to raise money
Southeast Iowa Union offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
VICTOR — A train ride Saturday, June 28, from Victor to Marengo and back will raise money for Victor Volunteer Fire Department.
Rides are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and noon. Each ride has 300 seats available.
Tickets cost $15 per person and must be purchased in advance. Click the link on the Victor Iowa Facebook page to order tickets online, or visit Victor City Hall to purchase tickets in person.
A mailing address is required when buying tickets.
The train will load passengers on the south side of the tracks between Washington Street and Main Street.
Parking is available north of the tracks at the football field and surrounding areas.
