Victor Lions draw raffle winners
VICTOR -- The Victor Lions Club drew winners for its annual raffle at the closing ceremony of Victor’s Old Fashioned Christmas last week.
The raffle is one of two fundraisers the Lions conduct each year that allows them to support many local, state and international causes, such as blindness prevention, eye screening for preschool children, diabetes prevention and treating childhood cancer.
The winner of the $7,000 first prize was Janet Van Ersvelde, of Montezuma. Second place, $2,000, was awarded to Cassandra Rhinehart, of Victor.
Paul Chalupsky, of Brooklyn, took the third place of $1,000.
