Williamsburg girls place fifth at invitational

WATERLOO — Two fourth-place swims highlighted a fifth-place team finish by the Williamsburg girls Saturday, Sept. 9, in the Waterloo Invitational.
Senior Laura Carrico placed fourth in the 100 yard freestyle in 1:02.0, and she anchored the 200 freestyle relay team to another fourth-place performance in 1:53.78. She was joined by Olivia Kelting, Caitlyn Cronbaugh and Kya Dobesh.
The Raiders’ 200 medley relay team of Cronbaugh, Elizabeth Stohlmann, Gwen Yearian and Kelting placed fifth in 2:24.74.
Waterloo won the meet with 341 points. Williamsburg totaled 153 points. Eight schools participated.
