Williamsburg library hosts free events in April

WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg Public Library hosts Mushroom Hunting 101 Sunday at 1 p.m.
Learn about different types of mushrooms, where they grow, and whether you can eat them. The free event will be on the lower level meeting room at the library.
Questions may be directed to Sandy Jones, adult services librarian at 319-668-1195.
Now is the time to come into the library and grab a free starter kit provided by the Iowa County Master Gardeners. There are chili kits and herb kits available while supplies last.
Also, take some seeds from the Williamsburg Seed Library for planting this spring and summer.
Autism Acceptance Night at the Library is set for Monday, April 29 from 7-8 p.m. on the main level of the library.
Autistic children and their families are invited to a special night at the library, with activities, crafts, snacks and a chance to browse the library after hours.’
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Register by calling 319-668-1195 or stopping the library.
Williamsburg Public Library welcomes back Red Cedar Chamber for their concert, Voyagers, April 25 at 7 p.m. Explore around the world with works inspired by Greek, American, Gullah, Lebanese, Chinese, and folk traditions.
Friends of the Library hosts its semiannual book sale from Thursday, April 18 through Saturday, April 20. The book sale will be located in the library during regular library hours.
All money from the sale go to the friends of the Williamsburg Library.
The library will host a puzzle swap Monday, April 22 during library open hours 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
To participate: bring a good-condition puzzle to swap, have all the necessary pieces, and have a box or container with the picture of the puzzle.
