WILLIAMSBURG — For the second straight season, Williamsburg will be hosting a Class 1A girls wrestling regional to qualify for the state tournament.

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union announced all 16 sites for 1A and 2A Friday. Williamsburg will be one of the eight sites in 1A.

Regional competitions will take place Jan. 30, 2026. The state tournament will be Feb. 5-6 at Xtream Arena in Coralville.

Other 1A sites include: Atlantic, Colfax-Mingo, Crestwood, Denver, Midland, Western Christian and Wapello.

Official practices will begin Nov. 3.
