Williamsburg’s Albuagh wins WaMaC title at 132 pounds
Raiders finish third as a team

MARION — The Williamsburg boys wrestling team finished third in a competitive field Saturday at the WaMaC Tournament in Marion.
The Raiders finished with 185 points, behind West Delware’s 209.5 and Independence’s 215.
Williamsburg’s Hayden Albuagh defeated top-seeded Jarrett Engel of West Delaware in the 132-pound final by a 4-1 decision.
Tied at 1-1 in the final period, Albaugh secured the winning takedown with 12 seconds remaining.
The Raiders’ three other finalists — Riker DeWitt (113), Charlie Foster (120) and Carson Grier (Hwt.) — finished runner-up.
Kyler Wade (165) and Brady Grier (175) finished the day with wins en route to third-place finishes for the Raiders.
Williamsburg now sets its sights on Regional Duals Tuesday at West Delaware in Class 2A.
