Yearian heads to districts

Williamsburg senior Bryce Yearian advanced to districts after earning medalist honors at the Class 3A Sectional Wednesday, May 8, at Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa.
Williamsburg placed third as a team, three strokes behind Grinnell (310) and eight back of Pella (305). One spot short of advancing to districts.
On Monday, May 6, the Raiders finished fourth at the Wamac Super Meet at Wildcat Golf Course in Shellsburg.
Williamsburg carded a 313, and finished one stroke back of Marion and three back of West Delaware. Solon won the Super Meet with a score of 304.
Senior Crew Klingner finished runner-up medalist with a 70 card. Isaiah Zoske of Solon won it with a 69.
