Ag Odor Control, LLC donated 2 oz OC7 Mini to each fall sport athlete to deodorize their shoes during the season, covering grades seven through 12. Four hundred bottles were delivered to Mt. Pleasant Community School District Athletic Director Scot Lamm for athletes in both middle school and high school, with another 400 bottles delivered to the Washington Community School District Athletic Director Nathan Miller.
Many of us can remember being a middle school or high school athlete. The camaraderie, exertion, mental toughness, and repetitive drills were all part of it. An unfortunate occurrence was also the dreadful shoe odor. Many of us had to keep our shoes at school which caused the pungent locker room odor. Others had to keep their shoes in the garage as they were barred from being in the house. Ag Odor Control, LLC of Fort Madison has a solution for shoe odor that is making its rounds across the nation.
OC7 (Odor Control 7) was launched last winter, has been tested, and is safe to be used around children and pets. It is sold at Hy-Vee grocery stores in Mt. Pleasant, Fairfield, Washington and Burlington (Agency), among other locations.
Wayne Marple, President of Ag Odor Control, stated, “OC7 is a great product made locally with a national reach, and listed with the Organic Materials Review Institute. It has taken out odors other popular odor treatments could not touch. On top of odor elimination OC7 works very well to either reduce or remove stains from carpets, furniture, rugs and upholstery. It also has proved to be a very good surface cleaner. OC7 does not contain perfumes to mask odors, unlike other products. It does all of this without a harsh chemical smell.”
