MT. PLEASANT — Due to a conflict with a high school regional volleyball game, the Mt. Pleasant Community School District All Band Night will be rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 26.
“We recently realized that our scheduled All Bands Night concert on Tuesday, October 17th was in direct conflict with a high school regional volleyball game,” Middle School Band Director Adam Creager said. “After working with activities director Scot Lamm, we have decided to reschedule All Bands Night for Thursday, October 26th.”
“We work very hard to ensure that students and parents don't have to choose between things they love and are passionate about, and so in an effort to honor that we have decided to make this change,” he said.
According to Creager, All Bands Night is one of the district’s most important performances of the season featuring all of the bands in the district which include the fifth-grade band, sixth-grade band, seventh- and eight-band, and the high school bands.
This evening will also feature band senior recognition and parent night.
“We don't make massive calendar changes lightly, so thank you for your flexibility and understanding in this matter. We promise to continue working to do what's best for kids!” Creager said.
Creager invites anyone with questions to reach out.
