Southeast Iowa Union offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
The Winfield City Park will be the setting for the Sept. 6 W.A.G.G. (Winfield Area Grateful Gathering) Event. Winfield’s Tent Evangelists, Robert and Stephanie Newton, will be featured. The event will begin at 5 p.m.
The Newtons both grew up children of pastors and now travel from Winfield to numerous destinations (even outside of the United States) sharing the Gospel of Christ. Robert calls himself a “Hope Dealer,” because the message of Christ brings Hope. They will be ministering in Word and song during this event. For more information on their ministry, visit their website at www.powerhouseonline.net.
A freewill offering will be collected for their ministry.
Walking tacos will be served throughout the event, so bring your lawn chairs and a friend to join us in the Winfield City Park for a time of spiritual revival!
In case of rain, the event will be held at the Winfield First Presbyterian Church, 302 S Locust.
