WINFIELD — The Winfield Historical Society and Museum ended the year with tours, snacks, fellowship, and a quilt raffle.
Dec. 15 and 16 the museum invited guests to enjoy Wassail as they toured the festively decorated museum for the holidays.
Throughout most of December, they also sold raffle tickets for the chance to win a 38X55 lap quilt donated by the BLB Quilt Club. The money from these tickets will go toward the continued renovations of the museums’ soon-to-be new location just down the road.
Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. at the current Winfield Historical Museum, Amber Anderson became the lucky individual to take home the handmade quilt.
