Any Wear Apparel hosts Alive After Five

MT. PLEASANT — Nearly a year after taking over Any Wear Apparel, owner Allyson McCarty excitedly invited the community to the business’ new and improved showroom to celebrate.

“I wanted to do it [the Alive After 5] around our one-year anniversary of new ownership to introduce ourselves” McCarty said.

After eight years working with the company, McCarty took over the Any Wear Apparel from previous owner Joni Manske. Mankse currently owns Etc. Gift Boutique in downtown Mt. Pleasant.

While the Alive After 5 event was an exciting celebration, McCarty appreciated the timing of it for other reasons, also.

“It gave us a deadline for all the changes and updates that we wanted to make,” she said. “We really pushed to get our showroom area put together and updated, and we’re really excited about that change.”

Showing off this new showroom was a highlight for McCarty.

“There has definitely been a learning curve when it comes to learning the ropes,” McCarty said about her first year owning Any Wear Apparel. “Of course there’s that, but as a whole it’s been great and we are excited for the changes that we have implemented.”

“We’re very confident in the path we have, now,” She said.

One of the very first changes implemented was a partnership with Brown’s Show Fit Co.

Announced Jan. 27, 2022, Any Wear Apparel entered into this partnership with the downtown shop to sell local school apparel.

Any Wear Apparel still offers their online web stores, bulk ordering options, and custom individual order options.
