WAYLAND — WACO High School wrapped a fun filled week of homecoming celebrations.
During Wednesday’s Boom Night, Seniors Simeon Reichenbach and Katie Leichty were crowned 2022 Homecoming King and Queen.
Leichty and Reichenbach are both active members of the WACO student body.
In addition to being homecoming queen, Leichty is also the Vice President of the Crooked Creek 4-H Club, Washington County Fair Queen, and a volunteer leader for Crawfordsville Clover Kids.
Both are fierce athletic competitors for the WACO Warriors. Leichty plays on the volleyball team, and Reichenbach is the football team’s running back.
On top of playing in the homecoming game and being the homecoming king, Reichenbach also runs for the track team, and guards on the basketball team.
The homecoming court includes Ellah Kissel, Jocelyn Fulton, Grace Coble, Mason Miller, Odee Shtefanchuk, and Drew Diers.
