Beatty-Peterseim Funeral Home covers funeral costs for 17-year-old

According to funeral director Mark Beatty, the Beatty-Peterseim Funeral Home has waived all costs associated with the funeral of Kyler Rugg out of principle.
Beatty further stated that the funeral home had a general policy of not charging families for the funerals of children and infants. Rugg passed at age 17.
“We’re locally-owed, and have been in business for a hundred years,” Beatty said, “That’s just part of our compassion for the community.”
Previously, a GoFundMe arranged for the benefit of the Rugg family had been concerned with funeral and medical costs.
