MT. PLEASANT — For nearly a year, the Crown Motors location sat unoccupied, but Krusen Motors has since filled the lot.
Krusen Motors is a family owned dealership that sells new and used vehicles in the Mt. Pleasant community.
This is Krusen Motors’ first Iowa location, however, they do already operate in Marshall, Minnesota.
Krusen Motors chooses to dive right into the Mt. Pleasant community.
During their Memorial Day Sale event, Krusen Motors partnered with KILJ to not only offer deals on cars, but grilled food and enjoyed chatting with members of the community.
The company has already sponsored local organizations like Mt. Pleasant Disc Golf and the Iowa Barrel Racing group IA NBHA District 5.
Krusen Motor’s Chief Executive Officer Keith McKinzie and General Manager Kris McKinzie are also members of Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance as of July and the Mt. Pleasant Noon Rotary group.
“We are so excited to welcome Krusen Motors to the Chamber,” Chamber of Commerce Director of Membership Delaney Van Ness said. “They’re going to be a great asset to our community and we are thankful for their support!”
The time has now come to officially celebrate this new addition to the Mt. Pleasant community with a ribbon cutting and Grand Opening event Aug. 15 at 4 p.m. with the Chamber of Commerce.
