Chamber celebrates From the Heart move

MT. PLEASANT — Chamber members gathered in From the Heart’s new location in the heart of downtown to celebrate Friday morning.

After a few moves, From the Heart Flowers and Gifts shop owner Tena Chiles looks forward to staying in the same place for a while.

Chiles thanked all the chamber members for coming by her shop and celebrating the new space.

“It looks really nice,” Chamber Member Marilyn Young said.

“We’re not going to move for at least the next five years!” she exclaimed at her Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony.

“We’re happy to be in the prime shopping district,” she added. “We’re very very thankful for the community and everybody that has supported us through three moves. Everything keeps getting better and better.”

“We’re looking forward to more and more,” Chiles said.

With that in mind, Chiles chatted with Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President Rachel Lindeen about some of the changes in the new location.

She showed off some new product lines and even mentioned how the preparation she is completing in the back of the shop to host classes in the not-too-distant future.
