City offers Christmas tree pickup

MT. PLEASANT — Free Christmas tree pickup for Mt. Pleasant residents has been scheduled for the week of Jan. 8-11, weather permitting.
The tree pickup with occur in conjunction with normal garbage pickup.
If you do not use the City’s garbage collection service, you may need to contact City Hall at 319-385-1470 to find out the trash day for your street.
Trees need to be placed next to the curb and must not have plastic coverings, decorations, or tinsel on them.
