MT. PLEASANT — The Mt. Pleasant community came together this week to welcome Iowa Wesleyan University students back to campus with an evening of fun for all.
The evening consisted of students, families, and community smiling, laughing, and enjoying one another’s company.
“Rock Around the Campus was a beautiful evening of the Mount Pleasant Community coming together with the Iowa Wesleyan campus community,” Mount Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce Director of Membership Delaney Van Ness said. “We’re so thankful to have wonderful events like this in our community.”
A multitude of inflatables were utilized not only by the youngest in attendance, but by the college students as well.
Food abounded around the event with food trucks serving mini donuts, mocktails, BBQ, and tacos.
Music from a live DJ mixed with laughter as the community came together to celebrate this new school year with games and fellowship.
