MT. PLEASANT — Edward Jones hosted a celebration of 100 years as a business at the Airport Road Vineyard Wednesday.
The night consisted of door prizes, snacks, dinner, and sugar cookies promoting 100 years.
Leadership class graduates also received plaques at the event.
Executive Vice President of the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber Kristi Perry took the opportunity to announce the quarterly Community Pride Award recipient Sarah’s Bridal Gallery and LillianGrace Boutique.
Other announcements included new chamber members and information about the upcoming So You Think You Can Cook event hosted by Main Street Mt. Pleasant.
To accommodate already registered cooks, the event has been moved to July 30.
Director of Main Street Lisa Oetken encourages other aspiring cooks to sign up for the six remaining spots.
“No experience is need,” Oetken said. “If they think they can cook, have been told they can cook, they like to cook, and they want to cook, they can sign up.”
The evening wrapped on a sweet note as it was announced that Everly Johannson turned three Tuesday, May 31.
The whole room filled with smiles as eyes turned to watch Everly enjoy the large group sing her “Happy Birthday.”
Lucky for Everly, her favorite birthday dessert of cookies were in large supply the whole evening.
