Mt. Pleasant TTT Society set donation boxes in a variety of locations throughout Mt. Pleasant to collect winter clothing items for children

MT. PLEASANT — Last week the Henry County Board of Supervisors approved Mt. Pleasant Chapter DD TTT Society placing a donation box in the Henry County Courthouse to collect winter gear for children.
“Give the gift of warmth by participating in our cold weather clothing drive,” the TTT Chapter invites the public. “Help keep others cozy and comfortable by donating winter gear and spreading warmth and kindness by contributing to our clothing drive.”
The TTT Chapter asks for donations of new or gently used mittens, gloves, snow boots, snow masks, snow pants, and coats. In addition to the courthouse, donation boxes decorated in bright colors are also located at Hy-Vee, Old Threshers, and The Fellowship Cup. Donation boxes will remain at these locations until Oct. 25.
