WAYLAND — All Dolled Up is providing homecoming dresses for students for the eleventh year.
Saturday, Aug. 20, students are invited to the Wayland Mennonite Church basement to “shop” a free selection of homecoming dresses.
Available dresses come in a variety of sizes, colors, and designs.
“It was fun playing dress up, and it was still cool to donate my last year’s dress and still come out with another one,” a WACO graduated Bryel Wagler said.
This event does require masks be worn while inside the building, and masks will not be provided.
“Every student should have the opportunity to attend prom regardless of their personal or financial background. "All Dolled Up" offers, for FREE, a nice selection of formal dresses in every color and size, even featuring designer labels! There is also a variety of fancy shoes and jewelry to choose from,” head of All Dolled Up, Jenny Unternahrer write on the All Dolled Up Facebook page.
All Dolled Up also will offer formal attire for the prom season, and this year, the expectation is to offer men’s tuxedos, too, March 5 and 26.
My events are held in the Wayland Mennonite Church basement in Wayland, Iowa and open to student from WACO High School and surrounding communities.
