Fellowship Cup prepares for Back-to-School

MT. PLEASANT — With the first day of school just around the corner on Aug. 23 for Mt. Pleasant Community School District, many prepare through back-to-school shopping, but for those that find this part of the year fiscally challenging, the Fellowship Cup will once again host a school supply distribution.

Monday, Aug. 14 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The Fellowship Cup invites those in need to stop by the organization’s community room to pick up basic school supplies.

“Parents will be responsible for purchasing any additional supplies requested on individual school/grade level lists,” the Fellowship Cup flyer for the event advertised.

In order to pull off this event, the Fellowship Cup asks others in the community to contribute to their Back-to-School supply drive happening now through Aug. 11.

Needed supplies include 1-, 2- and 3-inch binders, wide-rule filler paper with three holes, and dry erase markers.

Donations may be dropped off at The Fellowship Cup from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
