MT. PLEASANT — Thanks volunteer efforts made by Andrea Moeller, RN, BSN, her family, and Henry County Health Center patient, to take down 620 flags following RAGBRAI, the Henry County Optimist Club made a $620 donation to the HCHC Foundation in support of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
The HCHC Foundation expresses its thanks to both the Moeller family and the Optimist Club for their donation.
HCHC’s Cardiac Rehabilitation department, which has a state and national accreditation from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, offers multilevel individualized programming to help cardiac patients reach their highest level of health. They offer three phases of rehabilitation including inpatient and outpatient programming. Each phase of the program focuses various aspects of recovery, education, monitoring, lifestyle change assistance, and health maintenance.
Additionally, HCHC offers a Cardiac/Pulmonary Support Group. This group is designed to encourage people with concerns about heart and lung disease in their goals for a healthy lifestyle. The group meets every other month. Call (319) 385-6504 for more information.
The Henry County Optimist Club puts American flags up across Mt. Pleasant four times a year. For more information on how to support the club, reach out to henrycountyoptimists@gmail.com.
