Franklin Avenue to be repaved
Expect delays on Franklin Avenue

MT. PLEASANT — Beginning Monday, Franklin Avenue from Trenton north to Highway 78 will undergo asphalt paving construction, but will not close.
This means that flaggers and pilot cars will be directing traffic through the work zone and delays should be expected and additional caution should be used.
“The project consists of milling existing road and the overlaying road with new asphalt,” Henry County Engineer Jake Hotchkiss said Friday. “The first part is milling and that will start next week.”
