MT. PLEASANT — Henry County Public Health, in partnership with River Hills Community Health Center, is now offering free, confidential HIV and Hepatitis C screenings on the third Friday of every month. The screenings will take place from 2-4 p.m. at Henry County Public Health, located at 106 N. Jackson St., Ste 103 in Mt. Pleasant.
This Friday, Feb. 21, marks the launch of this new service, providing community members with rapid and confidential testing. The screenings aim to promote early detection and improve public health outcomes by offering a safe and accessible environment for testing.
These screenings are an important step in preventing the spread of HIV and Hepatitis C. By providing free and confidential testing, the hope is that individuals will take more control of their health.
The testing is quick, and results are available within minutes. No appointment is necessary, and walk-ins are welcome.
