MT. PLEASANT — Friends of Henry County Health Center invite the public to attend the Annual Fall Soup Supper Friday, Nov. 4 from 4:30-7 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
After taking a year off in 2020 due to COVID-19 and hosting a drive-thru event in 2021, the fundraiser is back in person.
For a free will offering, the evening’s menu offers chili, chicken noodle soup, or bake potato bar with relish, crackers, dessert, and a drink.
Take out is available.
The event is sponsored by Friend of HCHC, and proceeds from the Soup Supper will benefit the Friends of HCHC Healthcare Scholarship Fund.
This scholarship is available to those going to school in a health care field, HCHC associates, and family members as a loan scholarship.
This means that the scholarship is given as a forgivable loans with the stipulation that recipients work for HCHC for a minimum of two years following graduation.
For those interested in another way to support the Friends of Henry County, Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. visit the Health Education Center for a Masquerade Jewelry and Accessories fundraiser.
