MT. PLEASANT — From the Heart Flowers & Gifts welcomes more foot traffic, light, and room with their recent move just down Main Street.
Light now pours in through large windows which display “From the Heart” in delicate script as shop owner Tena Chiles settles into her new location.
She excitedly welcomed her loyal customers back to From the Heart following a brief closure as they moved at the end of March.
“We held a soft opening March 31 and fully opened April 3,” she said.
From the Heart officially returned to normal operating hours at the beginning of April.
They welcome costumers into the shop at 116 S. Main St., Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturdays.
Chiles has not had a moment to take a breath since the move.
She went from packing up her old location to setting up the new one, all while still putting together Easter orders and selling out of Easter lilies.
“This is the busiest season,” she said. “I just finished Easter orders, am working on prom orders, and preparing for Mother’s Day right after that.”
As business continues to bloom for Chiles, she expressed excitement for upcoming growth with her shop.
“We still offer the same great variety of gifts and flowers and custom arrangements,” she said. “We’re excited that we’ll be carrying some new lines of products and offering classes soon, too.”
While some of these additions might need to wait until Chiles makes it through the busy, season, she will let her costumers and community know as soon as they launch.
Even while she prepares corsages and boutonnieres for prom, Chiles hopes to arrange a Grand Opening ribbon cutting with the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce in the near future.
Overall, Chiles says the move is very positive and she loves that, “We’re in a good shopping district right next to Lillian Grace, Etc., and Brown’s Shoe Fit.”
