This month, Miss Junior Rodeo Iowa, Zoey Dennler of Crawfordsville, traveled to the Tri State Rodeo in Fort Madison. Zoey had six days of activities during the week of Labor Day. She started the week by helping with the special needs rodeo and sponsored visits with Miss Rodeo Iowa. Then she and Miss Rodeo Iowa worked with the Little Spurs Rodeo helping with the kid's activities. They even got to rid a steer and Zoey rode for eight seconds. That night, Zoey was one of the judges for Little Miss Rodeo and All Around Cowboy competition.
Throughout the week the three titleholders, Miss Rodeo Iowa Jenna Kool, Miss Teen Rodeo Iowa Kaylee Tremel and Miss Junior Rodeo Iowa Zoey Dennler visited a nursing home and spent time in a special education classroom. They visited more sponsors and met lots of rodeo fans. They appeared four nights of rodeo, September 5, 6, 7 and 8, most of them in the rain. Zoey and the other rodeo queens participated in the rodeo parade on Saturday and then went to the coronation events where Miss Teen Rodeo Iowa 2019 were crowned. Miss Rodeo Iowa titleholders hold their titles for a calendar yea.
